Hi, and welcome. I'm Carolyn.
I’m Dr. Carolyn Solo, PhD, LCSW, founder of Future Template Parent. I help EMDR therapists bring intensives into their practices so they can have time and financial freedom while getting incredible outcomes for their clients.
So, you may be wondering… why EMDR intensives?
I’m the mom of three daughters. My oldest daughter has always had some developmental challenges, and, well, stuff hit the fan when she started kindergarten in September 2022. She got an autism diagnosis and an IEP. The bulk of dealing with all the medical appointments and school communication fell on me, and I was having to cancel sessions with clients frequently. I knew that something had to shift. I started telling clients that my focus was going to shift to EMDR intensives. I could not be tied to 20 individual client hours a week.
To be honest, I was shocked by the results. I found most of my clients were willing to give intensives a try. Better yet, once people tried an EMDR intensive, they really liked them. People were responding really well to them clinically. I was feeling more in control of my time, my energy, my financial resources, and my schedule. It was the change I needed.
“I could be the mom I needed and wanted to be.”
Fast forward three years, and I’ve helped more than 30 people overcome their trauma with EMDR intensives. I’ve more than doubled my rates and now charge $5,000 per intensive. And now all new clients I work with start with an EMDR intensive.
And to be honest, I’ve never felt more proud of the clinical work I’m doing, or more at ease with the money I’m making in my practice.
I’ve already helped dozens of EMDR therapists transition to offering intensives in their practices, and they’ve transformed the way they live and work. If you need a change, let’s talk!
My primary treatment modality is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
EMDR is a holistic approach to treating trauma that is backed up by strong scientific evidence. I think it’s time for the field of therapy to move beyond just talk; to get out of the brain and into the whole body, where trauma actually lives.
