Ep 4 How to Attract EMDR Intensive Clients Through Your Website

Welcome to the Future Template Parent Podcast. In this episode, we dive into the importance of having a website for your practice. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I’ll guide you through the key points covered in this episode.

When establishing a successful practice, having a website is crucial. It is your online presence and a platform to connect with potential clients. Whether based in the suburbs of Philadelphia, like myself, or anywhere else, a website can significantly enhance your reach and visibility.

One important aspect of your website should be a dedicated page for intensives. Intensives are focused and concentrated treatment programs that offer clients an immersive experience. To effectively advertise these intensives, place them prominently on the first page of your website. Additionally, including clear call-to-action buttons on every page will help guide visitors toward taking the next step.

Now, let’s talk about the content of your website. It’s essential to have a page specifically dedicated to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This page should provide a general overview of EMDR and highlight the benefits of undergoing an EMDR-intensive program. Explain why choosing an EMDR intensive can be more beneficial than traditional sessions and set realistic expectations for what clients can expect during and after the intensive sessions.

I believe that the pricing of your intensive package should be transparent – clients should not have to search your site high and low to find what you charge. You can market an intensive as an investment in one’s well-being. Research on intensives can be a valuable resource to share with potential clients, providing evidence of the effectiveness of these programs. Some of the research I mention on my website includes a study comparing intensive inpatient treatment and weekly EMDR models for veterans. Another study looked at 61 people who were victims of crime, and also found that the intensive model was highly efficient and effective.

Having a website is essential and can be a game-changer for your practice. It allows you to showcase your expertise, provide valuable information to potential clients, and ultimately attract more individuals seeking support.

In our next episode, we’ll delve into social media marketing. Stay tuned for insightful tips and strategies to promote your practice online effectively. Until then, keep exploring the possibilities and embracing the future!
